Like an aged wine fermented in oaken barrels, our story begins with Alex Hartley, born into a family where vinyl records were more cherished than silverware. With parents who ran one of Chicago’s most beloved record stores, he was nurtured not just on mother’s milk but also the mellifluous modulations of musical strains.

Alex decided to sauté his love for technology with his passion for music.
